In 2001, Angel Aviation Flight School began operations at the Glendale Arizona Airport as a resource for growing the general aviation industry in Phoenix. Now, with more than 19 years in operation, Angel Aviation Arizona has had the opportunity to train thousands of pilots. We have been providing pilot training for 3 generations and currently operate to both Arizona and Alaska. Angel Aviation Alaska was created in 2016 and now has their own fleet of Cessna 172’s, Piper Seneca II’s and Piper PA-14’s based at Merrill Field, Anchorage, Alaska.

AIRCRAFT RENTALS AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTION

Both of our Flight Schools primary objective is to provide the most affordable rates possible on aircraft rental, flight instruction, single-engine and multi-engine time building with a fleet of well maintained aircraft. Angel Aviation Flight School is here to provide you with the services needed to complete your flight training in the most efficient manner.

Begin as a student pilot and finish as a multi-engine commercial pilot as quickly as you want. Private Pilots and Airline Transport Pilots will enjoy the quality and attention to detail in our aircraft and instructors. Our fleet is available for business 24 hours a day.

ARIZONA FLIGHT TRAINING LOCATION

Angel Aviation Arizona Flight School is located in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area at the Glendale Municipal Airport (KGEU) in Maricopa County, Arizona USA. The Phoenix area is considered by many pilots to have the finest flying weather in the world. We typically have close to 350 days a year of clear and sunny skies.

This flight school is approximately 2 miles East of Luke Air Force Base and 2 miles West of the State Farm Stadium (home of the Arizona Cardinals Football Team) and the Gila River Arena (home of the Arizona Coyotes National Hockey Team) which is located in the Westgate Entertainment and Sporting district with a large variety of hotels and restaurants.

Angel Aviation Flight School was created as a way to share the knowledge, expertise, and passion for flying with those who are interested in aviation as a career or as a general aviation pilot.

Founded by an aviation professional with over 30 years of commercial flight along with a great understanding and love for this captivating profession. Al Merrill has fostered three decades of experience in flight training, operating a family run flight school and an FAA Part 135 charter business in Hawaii then Arizona and Alaska. Al began flying between South Florida and the Bahamas in a Grumman Mallard and Dash 7. As a vector to his final approach, he completed his career as a captain with a major airline and continues to operate and grow Angel Aviation Flight School.

Of the four flight instructors that I've had, Linas is clearly the best. He is knowledgeable and able to relay information in a way that is easy to understand. He provides an honest opinion of how I'm performing maneuvers and what I needed to improve upon. He is easy to talk to and I can communicate my concerns to him.
When flying, even when I'm nervous about performing a maneuver (like landing), he assists until I am able to build confidence. He works around my schedule which is nice since I work so much. I intend on continuing with Linas to obtain my CFIL.
Angel Aviation's aircraft are well maintained and I feel confident fling them. Linas is an excellent instructor, the aircraft are well-maintained and the prices are very fair; this makes for an excellent and cost-effective environment when learning to fly.

I've been working on my private pilot license slowly over the years and finally decided it was time to get serious and finish the job. As many know, a good instructor is KEY in flight training. I've had many instructors over the years but Linas Grybinas is by far the BEST man for the job. His knowledge and love of aviation are beyond to anyone else. His fine-tuned skills in handling aircraft puts a student in their comfort zone; the stressful parts of flying become easy to understand and less overwhelming.
Linas instills confidence in his students while telling them to remain calm and fly the plane. A truly great instructor knows how to adapt to each student's learning style and abilities. He teaches that a good pilot is ALWAYS learning and that it's okay to make 'safe' mistakes while striving for perfection!
